Sam Nalven is constantly searching for true photographic irony in his work, whatever that means.

His first camera was a Minolta 35mm point and shoot that his mother gifted him for Christmas when he was 10-years-old, and his finger has been obstructing lenses ever since.

He aspires to shoot for all of the popular national magazines, and to make his mother proud.
